I-After School

CCII supports the efforts of several after school initiatives including the Student Opportunities for After-school Resources (SOAR), a tutoring and mentoring program run by the Graduate School of Library and Information Science and hosted by Booker T. Washington Elementary School that provides homework and reading help to students in kindergarten through seventh grade, and the Center for Education in Small Urban Communities' After School Arts Program at Franklin Middle School, which provides high quality visual and performing arts instruction at no cost to public middle school students. CII also supports the after school music programs at Urbana Schools.
