In honor of the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the mission of the campus/community
King commemoration is to:
- Serve as a vehicle for small and large group activities and discourse centered around
bringing to fruition Dr. King's vision for a "beloved community" and his desire
for a "moral revolution" in righteousness
- Provide a central calendar and source of information about the diverse activities
sponsored by campus and community groups in commemoration of Dr. King and his legacy.
